When Lucide is started from the root directory of a drive, its window shortly opens, closes again and the program terminates.

Workaround: Start Lucide from a subdirectory.

The document window is not redrawn correctly when opening a new file. Probably not all parts are invalidated.

When a user drops a supported file on the Lucide icon Lucide should be started automatically.

If I open a document it will always show the document open dialog in the executable directory, make sure it remembers the last directory the user navigated too

Lucide should be able to read and display the outline-structure of a djvu-file (bookmarks). Now it only displays "Page 1" etc. in bookmarks-section.

Update DjVu?-libre to 3.5.21.

I was using an older Lucide so I thought this minor annoyance would have been fixed by now -- it hasn't.

See attached PDF in Lucide (or have a look at the screencap). Lots of national characters display OK in the navigation panel, but the 'doc info' window does a typical codepage mistranslation or whatever (character right above the mouse cursor in the capture should be "ó", not "¾"). QPDFV shows such stuff OK in both places.

I've also attached the .pdfmarks file I use to generate the test file with GhostScript?. It is encoded using codepage Win1252.

If a PDF-file contains a bookmark with Greek (and perhaps the same with other special-character-Languages) Unicode-characters, the characters cannot be displayed by Lucide. Only "Häuschen" appear.

With AR5 everything looks fine.

If a field in a saved fill-in pdf is edited, the old data reappears after the pdf is saved and reloaded. This is probably a poppler defect/regression. The new data is in the pdf, but so is the old data. Since pdfs are effectively read backwards, it is easy to understand how this could occur.

The attached form has a column labeled reduction rate. Lucide displays this as if the column has only a grayish background. In fact, the column contains numbers on a colored background.

Poppler on linux has the same display issue.

Updated to 1.3.5 and printing no longer works.

Instead, the printer spits out endless pages with only a gray box containing the message

Reverting to 1.3.4 causes the same PDFs to print successfully again.

Using Brother HL-3075CW (native printer object, PSPRINT driver with imported PPD). The PDF(s) in question were created by Scribus 1.4.1.

Lucide doesn't print Firefox pdf in PS format, if the printer uses A4

F9 seems otherwise unused and this is the hotkey used by Firefox for a similar function.

Often - but not always - the "Find" function would simply jump to the end of the document even though the search text is present. This seems to happen only in "Continuous" mode (which I normally prefer).

At the end of the WPI install of 1.01 over 1.0 it asked if I wanted to set Lucide as the default PDF viewer. I said yes. Now the default PDF viewer is the E.exe text editor and the .pdf files are called txt files. The context menu under "open as" has "Text editor" as the only entry.

PLEASE Fix as this has really messed things up for me. Thanks. Assoedit doesn't work to fix it either.

Using Lucide on eCS 1.2

Displayed a multi-layer pdf, which showed a second graphic when using GSView.

I infer that the main layer was supposed to be transparent, as the hidden graphic flashed up first on a blank layout, in its correct position, then "disappeared" when the rest of the pdf was displayed.

I can fwd the pdf if required.

Please see page 3,4,6 etc. of this PDF document. They seem to render quite slow, especially when compared to Acrobat Reader 4.

Version 1.21 shows italic font instead of normal font in some cases (1.20 worked correctly). Maybe this error is in conjunction with not-embedded fonts?!

Installed at my work place is a Xerox Phasor 8550. I am using the 8400P driver since we don't have a newer one. I could print to the printer with beta4 using Print type As image. But with RC1 and 1.0 the printer only spits out page after page of postscript.

The attached file contains a barcode, built from an embedded font. Lucide doesn't show it.

When I point to a file that lives on an RSJ mounted CD drive like Z:, the pdf file does not load in Lucide. Lucide gives the error:

Failed to load document (error 3) "Z:\tm2354\a.pdf"

When this file a.pdf is copied to a harddrive, LUCIDE loads it fine.

I use the Innotek Acrobat Reader v5.1 to use PDF fill in forms. I find it particularly useful for doing taxes. To do the job right, I need to fill in the form, print it and save it under a new filename.

It seems that the fontscache is initialized each time Lucide is invoked. This also overwrites the fontscache that may have been generated by other programs like The Gimp installer.

This is bad for two reasons:

1) performance (!) 2) Lucide drops fonts that The Gimp did add (for example from other fontdirectories)

This has been reproduced on two systems.

With some PDFs the lucide exits(on opening the PDFs) with the following error:

The PDFs are rather large, so I did not attached them. Some PDF that have large size are opened without problem.
