    initial v1
1 I also have an old Gigabyte 7IXE motherboard, that has an AMD 756 chipset (including an OHCI adapter. If the original IBM USBOHCD.SYS ever gets loaded when that adapter is enabled, major problems occur (write errors on the hard disk). Somehow, that adapter got enabled, and, surprisingly, it works fine with 183, 184, and 185 (after adding the proper numbers of USBOHCD.SYS statements in CONFIG.SYS).

33This machine also has an add in card, with one EHCI, and two OHCI adapters on it. They all work properly with the 183 version of USBOHCD.SYS. If I update to 184, or 185, the two OHCI adapters, on the add in card, quit working, while the one on the motherboard continues to work. The EHCI adapter works with all three versions.
