NEPMD tools details (2022-08-13)

   To enable all NEPMD features,
   o  the rpm packages and
   o  KDiff3 or GFC
   should be found in PATH.

   Important rpm packages
      Download and install
      o  yum -y install grep wget coreutils diffutils icu lxlite unzip
      Instruction
      o  Use ANPM or yum to install the packages (from netlabs-rel).

   KDiff3
      Description
      o  Recommended diff file and dir viewer with 3-way merging.
      Downlaod
      o  yum -y install libqt4-gui
      o  ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/qtapps/kdiff3-0.9.97.zip
      Instruction
      o  Install rpm prerequisites.
      o  Download and unpack the .zip file.
      o  Move kdiff3.exe to a directory in PATH.

   Data Seeker
      Description
      o  Recommended file search utility.
      Download
      o  ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/dataseeker/dataseek116.zip
      Instruction
      o  Unpack the .zip file. For newer files, see the Wiki.
         http://trac.netlabs.org/dataseeker/wiki
      o  It's useful to add a program object for dataseek.exe to folder
         context menus. It's not required to move it to PATH.

   PMPrintf
      Description
      o  Optional debug message viewer for development.
      o  This is useful to display messages during PM development.

      Description
      o  Optional outdated file encoding program.
      o  This is superseded by uconv.exe (icu).

      Description

   Typerate
      Description
      o  Increase keyboard repeat rate.
      o  The standard keyboard repeat rate is much too slow. Unfortunately
         the configuration dialog doesn't allow to set acceptable values.

      Instruction
      o  Create a WPS object for typerate.exe with parameters: 0 600
      o  Place it in your WPS startup folder. If you don't have such a
         folder, create it. It's an XWorkplace feature, also added to the
         versions included in ArcaOS.
      o  Alternatively start typerate.exe delayed per script. It needs a
         few seconds of delay to work.
      o  All PM programs are affected. Once successfully set after startup,
         the change is noticable in all PM programs.
