How to apply
------------

To apply the patches to the official GnuPG 1.4.6 distribution from
http://www.gnupg.org/ take the following steps:

a) Untar the official distribution [and verify its integrity]:
	[gpg --verify gnupg-1.4.6.tar.gz.sig]
   	tar xzf gnupg-1.4.6.tar.gz

b) Unpack the contents of the archive gnupg-1.4.6-os2-NewFiles.zip
   into the new gnupg-1.4.6/ directory:
   	cd gnupg-1.4.6
	unzip [path-to-file]/gnupg-1.4.6-os2-NewFiles.zip

c) Apply the diffs to the source tree. Make sure you do not use
   the patch.exe coming with OS/2. Use GNU patch (or another port)
   instead, but not IBM's patch.exe!
	cd ..
	[path-to-gnu-patch]\patch -p0 < [path-to-diff]\gnupg-1.4.6-os2.diff
