I have a new quad core AMD Phenom 9550 with the ASUS M3A motherboard. I read that the ATI chipset is not supported by ACPI. Is there any hope there will be someday? The boot will not progress beyond trying to load resource.sys on either install (acpi enabled) or after install is psd=acpi.psd is included in config.sys.

ACPI.PSD for eComStation is ready for AMD chipset, now it's necessary to lift the operating system.

The next version of ACPI will work with AMD chipset with 1 CPU, we are going to prepare the updates/docs how to run in SMP mode.
