Multi-layer graphics not displayed correctly.

Reported by: guest/talldad@… Owned by: ktk
Priority: major Milestone: 1.3
Component: Plugin: PDF Version:
Keywords: transparent display multi-layer Cc:
Blocking: Blocked By:

Description

Using Lucide on eCS 1.2

Displayed a multi-layer pdf, which showed a second graphic when using GSView.

I infer that the main layer was supposed to be transparent, as the hidden graphic flashed up first on a blank layout, in its correct position, then "disappeared" when the rest of the pdf was displayed.

I can fwd the pdf if required.

poppler (library which we use for pdf-rendering) doesn't supports transparency yet. I hope, poppler developers will support transparency someday.

Here the bugs opened against poppler regarding transparency:

  • owner changed from eros2 to ktk
  • status changed from new to assigned
  • version 1.0 Beta 3 deleted
  • component changed from Lucide Core to Plugin: PDF
  • milestone set to 1.2

There seems to be changes to Poppler according to the buglist above. I would say we check if the Poppler update solves that problem and close that bug.
