Description
Freetype is a part of official QT distro. Is it possible to include it into QT/2 as well?

Do you mean Qt Version 4? Freetype is not a part of Qt Version 3. Anyway, I'm definitely planning to use Freetype/2 (system-wide Innotek Freetype/2 installation, to be exact) to finalize unicode support in Qt/2 Version 3. And currenty I see no benefits of including Freetype sources to Qt/2 Version 3 -- this would make sense only if we were drawing all text in widgets ourselves (i.e. not using relevant GPI calls). Probably we will use this approach, but only in a future Qt/2 Version 4 (in its Arthur subsystem -- but this needs to be investigated though).
