qbittorrent 3.1.9 fails to start

I updated from a working qbittorrent 3.1.8 installation by deleting all files in the qbittorrent directory and then unzipping qbit-3_1_9-GA.zip into the qbittorrent directory.

I then doubleclicked the qbittorrent.exe file to start the app.

The result was the qbittorrent.exe Properties notebook opened.

Trying to start qbittorrent.exe from the command line shows a/the problem:-

[J:\PROGRAMS\QBITTORRENT]qbittorrent SYS1804: The system cannot find the file STDCPP6.

[J:\PROGRAMS\QBITTORRENT]

So, the question is: Where do I find stdcpp6.dll - and why is this requirement not mentioned in the readme?

It is mentioned in the rpm section. So either do "yum install libstdc++6 libsupc++6" or wait until the new gcc4core wpi (version 1.2.2) is uploaded. This new wpi should be available within some hours from now.

This was/is one of the reasons I didn't announce it.

Sorry but I am not a yum/rpm user so I guess I'll have to keep a lookout for the updated gcc4core zip/wpi package.

I saw the qbittorrent 3.1.9 announcement on os2world.com on Monday so guess someone must have announced it a little early.

Too bad you don't use rpm. But anyway: the gcc4core wpi is at ​ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/incoming/ and will be moved soon to ​ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/gcc

Installing gcc4core-1_2_2.wpi does *not* resolve this issue - Yes, I did reboot after installation.

qbittorrent still fails to start:-

Not surprising as there is *not* a stdccp6.dll file in the gcc4core-1_2_2.wpi package

as I'm neither created nor use that wpi, I didn't see that those dll are missing. They are now included in the reuploaded wpi. now at /incoming and later at /pub/gcc

Installing the later gcc4core-1_2_2.wpi does resolve the issue and qbittorrent is now running fine.
